Kosher excellence in every detail

A Galápagos journey designed around trust, beauty, and tradition.

Since the beginning of our operations in 1997, many of our clients requested kosher meals. In October 2005, after being invited by the Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism to participate in a trade show in Manhattan, we launched our exclusive Kosher Galápagos service.

One year later, we welcomed our first kosher group under the supervision of Rabbi Leon Albin, the only Ecuadorian-born Orthodox Rabbi. Rabbi Leon studied in Israel under Rabbi Druckman and returned to Ecuador in 2004. He oversees kashrut for our journeys, performs shechita, and provides kosher meat and poultry for the trips.

Fresh kosher dining in the islands

Prepared with care, supervised with precision.

Galápagos regulations protect fragile ecosystems, making food imports nearly impossible. For kosher travelers, this is a major challenge. Chef Alexandra ensures Fresh Kosher Service onboard, fully compliant with island restrictions, so every meal is authentic and eco-responsible.

Dedicated storage facilities keep all kitchen and tableware exclusively reserved for kosher travelers, under the supervision of Rabbi León. We never use disposable dinnerware, maintaining high standards with Corelle tableware and Tupperware containers for both quality and sustainability.
